MichaelO'SHEAMicheal O'Shea of North Hykeham passed away on 13 March 2025 after a short illness. Much loved Husband of the late Margaret, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Our parents spent the latter part of their retirement in Lincolnshire after leaving London in 2003, and were always grateful for the kindness offered and friendships that were formed over the last twenty years.

Our family would wish to extend our grateful thanks to the good people of this caring community who offered their support and assistance over time. At this difficult moment, it is been comforting to know how well regarded our parents were, and has been a huge consolation to our family. It serves as a fitting testament to the strength of the local community and it demonstrates the basic inherent goodness and humanity of the people of North Hykeham.

There will be a service at St Hugh's Roman Catholic Church in Lincoln on Tuesday 15th April 2025 at 10:30 am to celebrate our father's extraordinary life, where our family may be able to offer our personal thanks to those who always looked out and cared for him.

We have asked that people might consider donations to South Lincolnshire Blind Society, UK Sepsis Trust or Scleroderma & Raynauds UK rather than offer flowers.
